Flexible Albums

Flexibles are the least expensive albums we make. Flexibles were developed for people who needed an album without the bulk of a thick binding, and wanted the capability of displaying groups of materials without the covers getting in the way. These are perfect for dealers who travel to shows, and collectors, too, who wish to keep groups of notes or checks together.

All Flexibles have 25 pages, and each page is constructed of two pieces of Mylar film. The front piece is the specified size, and the back piece extends upwards into the spiral binding. The spiral binding is of sufficient diameter to accommodate the pages being filled with items, even if doubled up.

The covers are a durable, washable, heavy gauge bookbinder's material, similar to the SafeKeepers' cover material, but without the bookbinder's board backing. The pages are sealed on three sides, the side facing the binding being open. In this configuration, you can think of flipping the pages over as on an easel. The spiral binding allows the covers and pages to be folded completely around under the page you wish to display, so that it is very compact, and well-behaved.

Flexible for Banknotes and Checks

One of our most popular products, this Flexible has 4" x 9" pockets, and is shown to the right with a CSA note in a 3-1/2" x 8-1/2" Mylar Sleeve. We have inserted a piece of blue paper into the sleeve to help define the size of the sleeve.

Flexible for Post Cards

For the Post Card Collector, we offer this Flexible, which has 3-3/4" x 5-3/4" pockets. These are especially well-received by those interested in preserving their real photo cards, as the Mylar film will not interact with photo paper or chemicals of any vintage photographic process.

The pockets are the same size as our Post Card Sleeves.

Flexible for Fractionals

An appropriate album size for US Fractionals, but also, as the image suggests, there are other uses as well. The pockets are 2-7/8" x 4-7/8".

Especially sized for Stock Certificates, this Flexible has 9-1/2" x 13" pockets. Illustrated with an oversized issue of the Mammoth Gold Mining Company, which measures 9" tall x 11-5/8" wide, and revealing room still to spare.

Flexible for Railroad Bonds

Flexibles for Railroad Bonds. Now that we have in-house punching capbilities for our Flexible Albums, we are able to offer almost any size of Flexible Album that you might require.

These will hold most standard sized Railroad Bonds; the pocket size is 12" x 16", and is open on the long side toward the binding, just like the rest of our Flexible Albums.

Shipping costs are a bit higher on these because they won't fit into a Priority Mail Flat Rate Box.
