Albums for Sheets and Prints

We make two different sizes of post binders specifically for uncut sheets of currency: One for four-subject sheets of large US Currency or Obsolete Banknotes, and a second for six-subject sheets of Small US Currency.

We originally developed these albums to accommodate material from the Cristie's Auction Sale of the American Bank Note Company's archives in 1988. Even though the material was placed in Mylar pouches prior to the sale, many collectors eventually preferred to have their material in an album rather than a pile of loose pouches in a drawer or box.

A third standard size was added later, for Nature Prints, such as the works of Audubon, Jardine, Frohawk, Wilson, and others. The standard page for all of these is a three-piece construct, a taller version of the SafeKeeper pages used for individual banknotes. There are options in the number of pages supplied with an album, which are listed in our catalog. They can also be ordered with only one or two pages, as a presentation folder.

When determining whether your material will fit a certain size album, be sure to leave a margin of 1/4" to 1/2" all the way around your items for ease of insertion. In the accompanying image, we have inserted engraved sheets from the American Bank Note Co. The album illustrated has 10" x 15" pages.

Uncut Sheet Album for 4-Subject Sheets

For Uncut Sheets of Obsolete Banknotes, with a pocket size of 10" wide and 15" tall, we offer these with a choice of either 25 or 40 pages. They can also be special ordered with from 1 to 50 pages.

Overall size is 12-5/8" x 15-1/2" x 1-1/2" thick.

Uncut Sheet Albums for 6-subject Sheets

For 6-Subject Sheets of Uncut Currency, these have an 8" x 16-1/2" pocket on each page. This is the correct size for uncut sheets of Small US Currency, specifically 6-subject sheets of Nationals.

Overall size: 10-5/8" x 17" x 1-1/2" thick. We also offer these with a choice of 25 or 40 pages.

Albums for Nature Prints

Originally sized for octavo Audubon prints, these have proven useful for a wide variety of collectible paper items. The pocket size is 9" wide x 11-1/2" tall, making them much more versatile than the run-of-the-mill sheet protectors.

The overall size is 11-1/4" wide x 12-1/4" tall x 1-1/2" thick. We also offer them with 25 or 40 pages.
