Specimen Stocks
Specimen Stock CertificatesSpecimen Stock Certificates are offered for your consideration here. These come from the archives of a local company. They are all about the same size; 8" x 12", and have been produced by a variety of well-known security printing firms.Some have been stapled together at the upper left-hand corner; we will note this in our individual listings, as well as any less-than-obvious flaws. Many, but not all, of the items done by Security-Columbian Banknote Co. and the American Bank Note Company are on paper which has small, colored dots randomly distributed on both sides. We will refer to this as "Polka Dot Paper" in the listings. With one exception, we have only one example of each one listed. Based on the codes printed on some examples, we would expect that many are from the late 1960s, and that some others may be somewhat earlier. These will ship in a stiff, flat mailer. If you buy multiple items, we will refund excess postage charged by our checkout system. First come, first served.
