SafeKeeper Albums for Currency and Checks

SafeKeepers are our flagship albums, having been the first we designed specifically for serious paper money collectors. Regular binders do not fit well into most safe deposit boxes, but SafeKeepers do. They were designed to, and most of the six different sizes will fit into the narrowest of standard bank safe deposit boxes.

SafeKeepers are sturdily constructed of high quality bookbinder's cloth on board, with a flexible, slip-back spine. The standard covers are black imitation leather. All SafeKeepers have 50 pages.

SafeKeepers are Compact Post-Binder Albums; the binding posts and screw heads are concealed, but accessible. The pages are constructed of three pieces of Archival Mylar film: a front piece of the specified page size, a stop-strip at the left of the pocket, and a back piece which is extended to the left onto the binding posts. The perimeter heat-seals are strong, smooth and attractive.

All components are Made in the USA, and we assemble them in our own shop.

SafeKeeper for Large US Currency

The original SafeKeeper, for Large US Currency. Each page has a 3-1/2" x 8" pocket; each SafeKeeper has 50 clear, archival Mylar pages. Overall size is 4-1/8" x 10-1/2" x 1-1/2" thick.

This size SafeKeeper can also be used for Confederate States notes, merchant scrip and obsolete banknotes.

For those fragile notes that need to be enclosed in a Mylar sleeve and then placed in an album page, this size SafeKeeper is also used for Small US Currency in Sleeves.
